I had noticed that certain enemies are subject to "friendly" fire. They soften each other up so the kill is easier. It's weird, but the last one of the "super orcs" I met I accidentally (I intended to select a stronger weapon) attacked with a low-level weapon. Zoe took 50% damage (probably less, con...

I'm not really used to FPS, seeing as I can't stand them. My only reference for a similar game is Drakan: Ancients' Gates. In this game, when locked on, you could spin around an enemy while slicing at them until they fell down. Since I'm limited to a certain number of blows depending on which weapon...

My review of Severance

Now, given that this is a Severance fan forum, what I'm about to say will not go down well! I haven't gone very far into the game, but I'm not really having much fun. Since this game was a contemporary of Drakan and mentioned on a Drakan forum, I thought this would be fun to play. But I'm already to...

I have a copy of Severance!

I finally managed to get a copy of this game!

I haven't done much yet. I'm somewhere in the first Zoe level, underground.

And how does the bow work? I can't seem to hit anything with it!

Do people still play this game multiplayer?

Yes, I'm sure.

I've never needed to use the mouse much. I've used it to aim the arrows and Arokh's dragon breath, but other then moving the camera, nothing else then that.

Arrow keys are for movement. Attack is Control and A.

At least, that's what it is in my version.

If only I had a copy of the game, I could accomodate your request!

I've become quite practiced in doing this.

It was hard enough finding Drakan! I don't like my chances of finding this game.......

I've never really used that feature.

Only when I needed specific screengrabs of Rynn and/or Arokh from a certain angle.

I remapped them to something similar to Tomb Raider.

However, because there are more tasks in Drakan, I had to add extra keys.

For example, action and fight are the same in Tomb Raider.

In Drakan, fight and action are two seperate functions.

I'm buckmana.

I recently discovered Drakan and like multiplayer. I'm still working out level bugs, so my experience is not as enjoyable as I'd like it to be.

I also play Drakan: The Ancients' Gates, which is worth checking out, although it's a PS2 game.

I'm available most of the time (well mornings to afternoon in my timezone, add 10 hours to GMT). Night sometimes. Scheduling is often difficult, because we're in different countries. There are three servers which I can see, although I saw four once. I'm still trying to work out some bugs with Drakan...

Oh, I wish I'd seen that!!!!

Sounds like fun!

Does anyone have a savegame? I don't really know how that works in PS2, though, other then by giving someone a memory card.

The Chicken???

Don't remember that part.

I prefer TAG, although that's mainly because of the magic spells and target lock.

Being able to manuever without having to worry about where Arokh's head was pointing made aerial combat more interesting.
