That would be perfect. As long as menu.py is not overwritten I think you will be highly compatible with most MODs. If you need to modify it you can always add your new code to the existing menu.py I guess. Thanks for looking into it. There was also another thing that I've been wanting to ask you for...

Hi bumfightkriminal, I also got back to this game trying to fill the void left after finishing twice dark souls. Now I find dark souls a bit too slow compared with Blade. :) Hope you are enjoying it. You should have mentioned all that before. -ENB for other games won't work. -There's only wrapper version for Blade of Darkness (no injector) -Nvidia optimus is incompatible with enb in general, not only for this game. Not sure what you mean about older versions. There's only one version in the enbdev site. And is the same one that comes with the Blade of Light mod: v 0.242 If you get the game to load with enb, you will get a copyright text on the top left of the screen even with all the effects off. I don't have windows 8 so I can only guess here. If you are able to run the unmodded game with winxp mode then the crash is because of the mod. Let's try this,
go to the folder ..data/video and rename the video folder itself to video.bak

if this doesn't do it try to rename the file d3d9.dll in the bin folder to d3d9.dll.bak. That will turn off the new graphics. See if the game at least runs like this.

Hi, first off thanks and congrats for all the work displayed so far in this threat. It contains years of R&D about character creation on Blade. So I was going through all the threat as fast as possible to get to the end results and it kinda stopped in it's tracks when it was getting more interesting...
