Welcome, Gothicnight. Sure. When you rescued Perry, he gave you a key. That key is to a building on the left hand side of the entrance to the Sanguinade (where the red beams are). Go into this building and use the portal and you'll have a nice long dungeon with a boss battle (Gothraul). The place wh...

If you're a pleasure delayer, maybe save "Journey to Azenera" for last so it'll leave the sweetest impression.

Worthwhile assistance in mods is hard to come by.
Best to move on if you can't resolve.
Lots of good ones to choose from.

Fafhred, you're so helpful... you answered your own question! Battlemech is a great mod. Other favorites are: *Journey To Azenera (best mod) *Aergoth (unfinished, but also one of the absolute best) *Lady Winter at the Top of the World *War of a Dark Age' (Man, I never did finish that one because it ...

I know what you mean. Oh, also... WELCOME, Fafhred! When I first played it, I enjoyed it so much that I played it probably ten times in the various difficulties before going on to another game. I think it stands the test of time and comparison because it's such a genuinely GREAT premise. The story a...

A friend of mine went to either ebay or Amazon and got a used original OOTF, and when he got it, it was signed by many members of the dev team.
Complete surprise. Of course, I offered to buy it immediately, while in the same breath telling him to NEVER sell it!

^ grs, can we assume from the gaggle of grins posted above that you've had some measure of success with the tower jumps? ************************************************** This is a link to a series of pics from a Drakan fan called ilphay, or i23456. They depict the upper levels of the tower ...

Yes. If you have Time Slow or an Invisibility or Invulnerability potion, you can make easy work of it. Stick and move tactics work, as does forcing the Skeletons to hit eachother or the barrier (which also causes damage). Clineschmidt's is a good weapon, pleasing to look at, and neatly foreshadows M...

If that's true, I'd speculate that it would be the Mithril Scimitar, which is a low-level blade that shows up way late in the game (Stratos), sort of easter-eggish, but never showed in any shops or drops when it's level would've mattered.
Pure speculation.

There are little invisible lips or edges at various points up the bookstacks. I think it was a combination of side and back flips once you were on a bookstack edge just higher than the bookshelves. I've always been curious what the treasure, if any, might be. Though I heard it was unremarkable, I'd ...

You don't. There's supposed to be a series of jumps to get you up there, but I've only ever spoken with one person who did it, and she could never replicate it. She said there was a treasure chest with unremarkable loot and a couple of barrels. I've devoted many hours to trying to get this one, as h...
