I personally do not know. I'm using Win 7 64 bit and Drakan runs OK on my system if that's any help. I'm using standard windows mouse drivers and a standard microsoft mouse.

Hi you hold the shift key whilst clicking on the shortcut on your start menu. Instead of the game loading as normal a Riot engine options box will pop up where you can enable developer mode.

That's normal. Save games from different versions and revisions of the game are not compatible with each other. If you originally played the game and then patched it none of your save games will work; you have to start over.

Thanks for posting this. I'm tying it out now as we speak. Just need to find a decent controller that will work on a PC; can't get the PS3 controller to work under windows 7. Worked fine under XP with a bit of fiddling with non official drivers.

The game is basically saying it can't connect. This is usually due to a firewall so I'd check that first. Ports 27045,27046 need to be open. I'm running windows 7 x64 and the game seems to work fine on my machine although I had to manually configure my router's ports to get Drakan multiplayer working.

Yes, definitley the onboard video. If your system has an AGP or PCI-E slot you can upgrade the graphics.

Sounds like a driver issue. Drakan has known issues with Intel onboard video and S3 cards which produce problems like you are describing. What are your system specs?

A lot of the Drakan sites have been abandoned so many links are dead. I try and keep them up to date on the main site but I don't check forum links as this would be a headache. This site has recently been renewed for another year so we will be around for a long time to come yet.
