Hmm. I was thinking of DO:TQ and would have only one question...
from what will anyone get a master server for DO:TQ? Online games need more or less powerful (and nonstop running) servers, and as far as I know there is one master server for Drakan (Dutchman's).... and I don't think anyone will get a leased line do to hosting DO:TQ master server. and I also hope they will not shut down the Drakan master server for hosting DO:TQ (since I am banned out...
well, at least me is pinned down at good-o-Drakan).

Not sure what the final master server will be, but for the time being, it's GAMESPY!

OKay. I wanna say: where from the get a NEW master server? Or will they take away Drakan master servers? (i hope not) Since DO:TQ supposed to be free - and master servers are not for free! (as far as I know)

uhhhh.... gamespy is free. DOTQ is a Drakan MOD, not a whole new game, so it will use the same master server and even if gamespy begins to charge, Lowlight could always offer us a master server at surreal-news.com

Hmm!!!
As far as I know Surreal is firmly NOT in any kind of contact with this DO:TQ (non-official product)! How could anyone use a Surreal master server for it then??? ANd using the samer master server with Drakan?? Hmm, hmm. It acts strange enough lately with servering for only one game, now they pack 2 games on it?????? (sounds unstable a bit...)

Assassin, Surreal-news was originally endorsed by Surreal software but now it's a privatley owned site like this one so Lowlight could run a server for us.
As for gamespy taking down the Drakan server, I doubt that would happen for a long time as they are still hosting servers for 5 year old games and older still.

since I will never see it -_-.
BTW - bad news for dragon fans... just learned some news on the game "I of the Dragon"... man... that will be crap ;(

Well, I havn't actually played it, but I've spoken to numerous people who HAVE played it and they say it will absolutely blow your mind! The world levels are huge and There are several different characters to choose from including men! It's supposed to be quite good. If it comes out in years to come, I'll still play it.

Well, should it be finally released, send some pics of it.
I'd play it, but I fear that who banned me would learn that I am on (via IP num), and I could get a good whackin'. Oh well... maybe I can be smarter than him...

Ah, just my big mouth.
It was an Planetdrakan forum, a topic about downloading Drakan... I added a reply that "why Surreal keeps bothering us if they work for PS2 now?!" - and in return Archmage told he that he would NOT like to see me in DO:TQ.
happens. I have a guess that he is one of the creators of the game, and I have a feeling as if he'd make sure I can't get on. (I will not dare to be there tho. I'd not risk being spotted there by him...) Oh well... I only need to consult my ISP

I don't know, but I'm sure the levels themselves can be played without playing it online, and I really had NO idea Archmage was involved in DOTQ at all...... go to

It would. But.
you cannot ban ppl from Gamespy (expect if they do something against gamespy). That's why I am still in (I guess). This also goes for Planetdrakan - you cannot ban anyone for only what he/she says. BUT. DO:TQ is made by Archmage (he takes place in it), and he firmly told he he would NOT like to see me there... well, this is a (strong promise to a) ban, isn't it?
