Intro video has sound but no picture

The intro video worked fine when I played the game a few months ago but now it displays black while the sound still plays, I am stumped at what could be causing this. I just want it to properly work again for an LP I am about to record. It was the GoG version and I tried reinstalling it but that didn't help.

You can play it manually, the video file "main.mpg" is in "Blade\Data\video\EnglishUS\"

The particular programs I use for recording and my limited knowledge it would be easier if the game played the video for me.
