That could be the problem Sryml. I know the mesh that is causing the prob and I have the .max file so I'll try a welded version.
If that fixes it then that will nail down the error.

But I've also had probs with other maps with no new char models in. FugitiveI won't load after all the files are executed.

btw. There is supposed to be a tweaked version of the 'classic' game included but I can't find it and have no option to launch it. :?

I've posted on the Steam discussion page so I might get a bit more insight.

There is a classic folder in the root of the game, where is the old version. If you start the game on the main steam page, there will be an option to choose a different version. :)

I've now got the console enabled and found out some interesting stuff.....

There are errors some loading BOD files. So I'm going to make a testing mod and install the models one at a time to identify
the 'bad' ones. Then I'll see if they can be fixed. A long job as I have 100s.

Good News: I have the Gladiator Mod up and running. :D So far only the RAS maps work though. :roll:

I had to tweak the Gladiator code though. One small change. I seems the the game does like the pop() method in Python.

I just wrote a script that can help you quickly screen out bad models.
No need to install the model, no need to provide an internal name, just put all the bod files in a folder, and then use the folder path as a parameter. It can be executed in the main interface of the game without entering the mod map. Everything is based on convenience. 8)

    CheckModel.start(BOD_PATH)

Inevitably, every bad model will cause a crash, you need to start the game again and execute the script. This script will read the log in order to continue(../../Bin/check_model.log). It will not check the models that have already been checked, so it can finally help you filter out all the bad models.

Thanks for that Sryml. I'll have fun. :D

Today I made a testmap. Completely empty but using a map file that I made. It loads up to the end and then stops.

It seems that there is an issue with non-RAS maps as well. Although, I did manage to load one that was a RAS map that I
had altered.

A bit more insight.....

It appears that when I tried to load my testmap, the BODpak.dat file was not created. :roll:

I got the pf.pak.
