strange stones?

anyone know where i have to put the three strange stones. i've found one srine that doesn't activate when you walkin in the desart of tears but i don't know where the ultimate weapon is. WHY DIDN'T RYN KEEP THE RUNE BLADE..... would have made life alot eaiser.
