Hi prince-tukaram, welcome to the forums

Multiplayer isn't very popular because of lag and the lack of dedicated servers. Have you installed Hamachi and looked for other players?
You might have better luck at the Russian BoD forum, there are lots of guys there working on a 'balanced' multiplayer mod and they seem to play multiplayer regularly.

Try searching for Hamachi, that's what some people are using to play online.

Hey, I'm new here and first I just want to say that you guys are fantastic in the modding department (Tried most of them and found them VERY entertaining) and in keeping this forum alive as it is... I currently run blade fully patched with OpenGL (Thank you Sit random for the fog fix and BigTruck for supplying the links) and mostly modded on linux-wine and it runs great but I can't seem to find a proper VPN client like Hamachi to run the game online on a remote server , I tried to get hamachi on linux but the process of getting it up and running seems tedious and I honestly have no clue what the end result mught be, I tried other open source VP clients but they are very specific with what protocols they use and are very user unfriendly (and yes I DO use XTerm without wincing and the prospect of READING all that text), any good suggestions or alternatives that may be simpler to use?

Hi Autolochus,

The game's multiplayer code is very laggy, and never worked very well. We are trying to transfer BoD to the Doom engine, so multiplayer can be played at a decent speed, with more than 2 players. Check the mods forum.

Hi everybody!
Recently I used the Hamachi to chop with my guys but can not link ,I donnot know what to do next.
I had logged in the hamachi ,and my Ip was 5.181.246.255,my friends Ip in the hamachi was 5.177.72.147,we can chat with hamachi ,but when we start Bod and
Go to ARENA,Click join arena,I typed 5.177.72.147 to search my friends and he also do the same,To our disappointed ,we cannot search each other.
So what wrong?Can someone help me?

<b>mingyue1371</b> what`s speed of your connect between? Do you have same versions of BOD? Do you have patch in both BOD? Switch off any firewalls. If you have one LAN you don`t need Hamachi and cannot use it.

Hi Rampage,my speed was 400k/s,the biggest puzzle was we cannot search each other.
Is the progress right that start Bod first then
Go to ARENA,Click join Game,and I typed 5.177.72.147 behind Address: to search my friends ?

sometimes... for checking and moderation, now Hamachi has a big problem - only 5 users for 1 net.
