Can someone tell me what is the function of the ice crystal in the game? If it is to protect you from ice attacks, why they put it? In the game there are no enemies who use ice attacks except the dragons who use ice attacks but you kill them with Arokh. So if that is the function of the ice crystal, then it is useless and there is no point of it. Or may be it does something else? I just can't find out.

I didn't use them. I thought they were pretty useless as they are supposed to freeze enemies that come into range of the sphere it creates. By the time they freeze you will have killed them anyway.
